The solidarity and cooperation brotherly spirit that binds peoples and territories has always been in the front line of ADPM’s life long route, and there will remain as long as there are communities excluded of their most basic needs – hence the fact that Cooperation and Education have been, for many years now, one of our fields of work. Therefore, it is our goal to sensitize different national social sectors for the developing countries problematic, while working to diminish some of those countries difficulties, taking part in development processes that can contribute to improve the populations’ life conditions and well-being.

Beside Portugal, where most Education for the development projects have been carried out, in the last 20 years ADPM has also build a set of strong and active partnerships and projects in different countries (Cape Verde, Morocco, Mozambique, São Tomé and Principe), which have allowed a consistent and long-lasting Cooperation for Development work in those countries, involving areas so diverse as education, training, health, agriculture, …
